竜胆柄組子
Concept
広島にある日本料理店「接心庵 利」様に竜胆（りんどう）柄の組子を納入させていただきました。
りんどうは平安時代の女性にも好まれ、「源氏物語」「枕草子」にも登場する植物で、
住まいの調度品や衣装の文様にも使用されてきました。
円の中に星が埋めこまれているようにも見えるその美しいデザインは、和洋問わず、空間を華やかに演出します。
The motif design used for this kumiko ramma is called ‘Rindo’, gentian flower, and has such a long history of being favored by noble women especially in the Heian period (mid 12th century) for its gorgeous look, seems like a star hidden in the center of a circle.
This motif works great to add a luxurious taste on both Japanese and Western style spaces.
