Concept
願成寺（がんじょうじ）様は、横浜市にある高野山真言宗の寺院です。
創建は奈良時代と言われ、東大寺造立の責任者「行基菩薩」が名付けた、
法亀山という号を持つ由緒正しいお寺です。
そのお寺の中に休息所が設けられ、タニハタでは、お寺の外観風景を表す組子を設置させていただきました。お寺の休憩所と言いますと、和室の大きな広間をイメージします。しかし、この空間はモダンな内装で、若い方も気軽に立ち寄れる、明るい雰囲気となっています。
Ganjo-ji is a temple of Koyasan Shingon sect of Buddhism, which located in Yokohama City, and has a time-honored history. The founding is said to be during the Nara period (AD 710 – 794).
This rest area has built in the precincts of the temple. Our Art Kumiko is representing the external view of the temple. This space has modern and bright atmosphere so that everyone can feel free to comes by.
